Adela BÂRA (b. October 11, 1978) is Professor at the Economic Informatics and Cybernetics Department at the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies. She has graduated the Faculty of Economic Cybernetics, Statistics and Informatics in 2002, holds a PhD diploma in Economic Informatics from 2007.
She is the author of 15 books in the domain of economic informatics, over 100 published scientific papers and articles (among which over 46 articles are indexed in WoS and 29 ISI Proceedings).
She participated as team member in 10 research projects and coordinated as project director 4 research grants, financed from national and international research programs.
Domains of competence: Database systems, Big data, Machine Learning, Decision Support Systems, Energy Management Systems, IoT, Digital Twins.
